Year 8 Tennis Regional Tournament

A big congratulations to the six students who represented Sirius College MFC in the Year 8 Boys Northern Metro Regional Tennis Tournament on Wednesday the 2nd of May. The team earned the right to compete at regionals after a dominant performance at the Woodlands Divisional tournament earlier in the year.

Our boys found out quickly that the standard was higher at this level, but to our team’s credit they competed well winning two out of the three rounds. This result left our Meadow Fair campus ranked third in the Northern Metro region.

It was a tremendous effort from the boys. This is the highest level ever reached by our college in any tennis competition.

The members of this history making group are: Mekaal Khan(8C); Ozgur Hasimoglu(8C); Dana Sabir(8C); Meeran Sabir(8C); Mohammad Moghnieh(8A); and Aymen Yassin(8C).
